Nigel Thurlow - Chief of Agile at Toyota Connected

Nigel Thurlow is a Lean Evangelist, Continuous Improvement Leader, Quality Advocate, Agile & Scrum Coach. Considered by many as an expert in Lean implementation and process improvement, gained from his early Toyota background, he evangelizes quality improvement and waste reduction through the implementation of systems thinking, agile practices, and the Scrum framework. Nigel led the successful Scrum transformation at 3M Healthcare Information Systems, and has taught and coached as a principal trainer and coach at Scrum Inc together with the co-creator of Scrum in notable companies such as GE, Bose, 3M, Microsoft, MIT and Toyota. John Shook - Senior Advisor & Executive Chairman Lean Global Network

John Shook learned about lean management while working for Toyota for 11 years in Japan and the U.S., helping it transfer production, engineering, and management systems from Japan to NUMMI and other operations around the world. While at Toyota's headquarters, he became the company's first American kacho (manager) in Japan. In the U.S., Shook joined Toyota's North American engineering, research and development center in Ann Arbor, Michigan as general manager of administration and planning. His last position with Toyota was as senior American manager with the Toyota Supplier Support Center in Lexington, Kentucky, assisting North American companies adopt the Toyota Production System. Shook co-authored Learning to See, the book that introduced the world to value-stream mapping. He also co-authored Kaizen Express, a bi-lingual manual of the essential concepts and tools of the Toyota Production System. With Managing to Learn, Shook revealed the deeper workings of the A3 management process that is at the heart of Toyota's management and leadership. Shook is an industrial anthropologist with a master's degree from the University of Hawaii, a bachelor's degree from the University of Tennessee, and is a graduate of the Japan-America Institute of Management Science. At the University of Michigan, he was director of the Japan Technological Management Program and faculty member of the Department of Industrial and Operations Engineering. Shook is the author of numerous articles, including "How to Change a Culture: Lessons from NUMMI"; Sloan Management Review, January 2010, which won Sloan's Richard Beckhard Memorial Prize for outstanding article in the field of organizational development.

Edmond Nguyen - Lean Coach at Institut Lean France

Edmond Nguyen has worked for 20 years as a specialist and manager of information systems in the banking and insurance industries on 3 continents. He discovered the Kaizen spirit (Toyota Certified as a kaizen coach) and the benefits of a “learning organization” while working as a CIO at Toyota Financial Services. Nigel Dalton - Chief Inventor at REA Group

Nigel is REA Group's Chief Inventor. He runs REALABS, focused on research and development in the fields of VR, AR, and AI for the 2020s in the fields of property and lifestyle. Nigel formerly worked as CIO of the REA Group and as a partner in small Lean and Agile consulting company Luna Tractor, which he co-founded. Art Smalley - Lean Leadership Expert & Renowned author

Working between the 80's and 90's at Toyota Japan, at the Kamigo plant, where all the fundamental concepts of the STP were realized and mastered. Taiichi Ohno was a manager at this company and developed many of his experiments that leveraged the development of the Toyota Production System.

Burak Ilter - Head of Lean Engineering / Lean Transformation at Konica Minolta

Burak has been working for Konica Minolta since January 2017. He started as an architect and moved on to the Head of Engineering role for the Workplace Hub.
